After naming the semifinal squad heading for the Victoria cup semifinal in Kisumu, Mmust rugby coach John Asila is now determined to get to the Victoria cup finals. Asila said he had come up with strategies that will ensure they go past opponents chasing the one slot that will land them in the Victoria Cup finals next week.
Kenya Cup champions Kabras, MMUST, Kisumu and Western bulls are facing off in the semis pitting mmust vs western bulls a match that kicks off at 4:00 pm and Kabras vs Kisumu at 6:30 pm on Saturday at Mambo Leo show ground – Kisumu.
“I have some strategies if fully adhered to by players should see us to the finals as we are fully aware that we’re playing a very good team that are well structured and ready to stake a claim.” Asila told Jaybrands yesterday after naming the squad.
“Ours is to turn negatives into positives and do with what we have that should ensure players are in the right frame of mind before the match” said Asila.
